Yuletide Ice Cube Fair

This book is a VeggieTales book about an ice carving competition the town does before Christmas called the Yuletide Ice Cube Fair. Mayor Bob the Tomato told everyone to carve what Christmas means to them. Jimmy carved a 5-course Christmas feast, the French Peas carved themselves and a trophy, and Larry the Cucumber carved a dozen giant angels. The winner carved the smallest carving of all, so small they had to squint to see it. Read the book to see who the winner was!

My favorite part of this book was the pictures. I also liked what the story was trying to teach. Christmas isn’t about food or presents, but it’s really about when Jesus was born. I really liked this book. I liked that it rhymed and it was easy to read. We are going to put this in our Christmas book basket and read it during the holidays. I recommend this book to everyone who likes Christmas!
