Marisol Mcdonald and the Clash Bash / Marisol Mcdonald y la fiesta sin igual
Marisol McDonald is a girl who doesn’t like to match. She likes to be unique and different. Right now she is planning for her birthday party, and she wants her grandma to come over for her birthday, but her grandma lives in Peru. Marisol goes to the store to find a birthday theme, but can’t decide. She finally decides on taking a small bit from each theme. Read Marisol McDonald and the Clash Bash to see what happens when Marisol gets home and if her grandma will come to Marisol’s birthday party.
I thought this was a fun story even though it wasn’t really my type of book; it is for younger readers. But it also has the story in Spanish, and I have already learned some Spanish, so that was pretty cool. I like the pictures too. I think this would be good for children ages about four to eight or nine.
