Travels of an Extraordinary Hamster
In Travels of an Extraordinary Hamster, the main character is a hamster who wants to go to the Moon. He believes hamsters, and only hamsters, are on the Moon.
Throughout the book, Hamster’s different friends try to help him, and he is very rude about it. He doesn’t appreciate their help. His friend Snail makes him an airplane and he uses it to fly in the sky and almost touches the Moon, but lands in a bush. Hamster also goes to Antarctica. He meets Polar Bear who thinks that Hamster is Hen! That part is pretty funny. Hamster writes in his diary a ton in this book. The things he writes are not really true: he writes that he got to the Moon and that his cosmic cousins worshiped him. That didn’t happen.
I really like this book. All of the characters are really funny. Even though Hamster isn’t a very good friend, the other animals are nice to him. If you like comic books, then this is a book you will like.
