Toshi’s Little Treasures
There’s this boy who loves adventuring. He loves to go on walks with his grandmother and he loves to collect treasures. So his grandmother gives him a little backpack to collect his treasures and they go on walks to the forest, the park, the city, the beach, the country, and the river. On each walk, Toshi gets a lot of little treasures and then you get to see what he picked up and you can match them with what they came from. Like you can match a feather to a partridge or you can match a message in a bottle with a hand holding a pen. When Toshi and his grandmother get home, they decide to make a notebook where Toshi can draw all his treasures, just like his grandmother did when she was a little girl.
This book is really fun because you get to see all the fun things in the places where Toshi and his grandmother go and it is fun to match up the treasures from each walk. At the end, the grandmother says you should have seen a lot of animals, so you can go back through the book and look for them too.
