The Monkey and the Bee
There are twelve different words in this book. I can read all these words myself. The monkey is eating a banana. The bee lands on the banana. The monkey flicks the bee, but the bee comes back. The monkey eats the banana while the bee is flying back towards the banana. He eats the bee. He spits the bee out. The monkey has a branch and attacks the bee with it. He smacks the branch and misses the bee, but he does hit the lion. The lion roars at the monkey and chases him in circles. The bee looks angry. The bee does a pose like he’s about to run. He takes off and flies toward them. He stings right at the lion. The bee just stands there like he defeated somebody, because he did. The lion runs away like a baby. The monkey is hiding behind a tree. The bee flies up to the monkey. The monkey wants to give the banana to the bee. They are friends. I like the pictures. They are funny. My favorite character is the monkey. I would read another book about this monkey. I like that the bee likes the monkey. The pictures show expressions. This book is fun.
