In Kenya, how you would talk to your dad would be, ‘Baba’; like ‘Papa’, very like Papa. When you bought milk, you would pay with a shilling. When friends came over you would go to a wildlife preserve to see animals like giraffes, lions, elephants, and all of those animals. Your favorite food would be beef roasted over a fire with fruit and vegetables and milk and even some pastries that are filled with meat and vegetables. Kenya is in Africa, and your favorite game might be Cricket. You would like to build toys, and most of them would be handmade. You would look forward to the celebration of Carnival. The last page shows all the different types of children all over the world, even American people. It is interesting to know what life would be like in Kenya. I think the part of living in Kenya that I would like best would be the Festival, because it is the funnest thing in Kenya. I would like the food, too.
