Sam & Dave Dig a Hole

Sam and Dave were walking around trying to find a good place to dig a hole. They were trying to find something spectacular by digging. They dug and dug. Then the dog found a place he was digging out in the wall of it and the kids kept digging down. They almost found a diamond. They dug sideways. There was a huge diamond and then the kids said , “We haven’t found any thing spectacular so let’s split up!” and they went around that diamond and then there was a gimungo diamond but they said let’s go down again. They dug past that diamond and then all there was was a bone and then the kids fell through open air and landed on their on front porch and they went inside to have some food. The end.

I think that it is very funny and fun. I like it because it has funny and cute pictures. I have been thinking ever since the first time we read that book that we should take our dog with us when we go to dig.
