Meet the Dullards
Mr. and Mrs. Dullard don’t want their kids to be exciting, so they keep them doing boring things. Does it work? Nope. (“Little Dud” is my favorite kid name.) The mom and dad like to watch paint dry. They like gray. They think the kids should read blank paper. (Why did they even have those exciting books anyway?) A snail crosses the road. They think it was very exciting. The neighbor lady brings them cake. The Dullards are not very happy. When they eat ice cream, they get rid of the cone and the flavor. (Little Dud just dumps his on the floor.) They stare at the television. It is not on. It is not plugged in either. I think the kids are joining the circus. This book is exciting. I like it. When they are being boring, it is actually pretty funny. I love all the pictures. This book is really easy to read. I kind of would like to live with Mr. and Mrs. Dullard. It sounds fun. I would also join the circus. Then when the sun begins to rise, I would escape the circus and go home. I give this book more than five stars!
