Martha & Me

Martha & Me by Thames and Hudson is about Martha and the lion being friends. Martha likes to draw and paint, and she has a lot of imagination in her mind. She wants a friend, so she paints a lion friend. Martha plays with the lion. At the end, the lion soars up to the sky to go home. Martha misses the lion and wants to give the lion a present. Martha paints an owl so the owl can help deliver the present to the lion. I liked how Martha and the lion went on a lot of different adventures in the book. I liked the illustrations very much, especially the paint splotches because it was very artistic.
