Maddi and Sofia are best friends. One day, Sofia wants to get a snack, so she runs to Maddi’s apartment. Sofia is very fast, so she beat Maddi; when she opened the fridge she saw that it was empty. Sofia felt bad, but she didn’t tell anyone because Maddi told her not to. But Sofia’s fridge was full of all types of things. So Sofia puts fish from her dinner in her backpack for Maddi to eat the next day, but the next day, her backpack was super stinky! She tries two more times, but then she tells her mom, and her mom helps her decide what to do. They get things for Maddi. Then they go over to Maddi’s house and they are still friends, even though Sophia told her mother, because Sofia told Maddi she was more important. Then they go up the stairs to have lunch, and Sophia slows down so they can run together.

I like this book because it’s about friendship, and about helping your friend. I was glad that Sofia tried to help Maddi, but all the times it didn’t work so finally she told her mom.
