Is That a Cat?

The cat wants to find another cat, and the elf wants to find some rain, and the bear wants to find his boot, and the dog wants to find a bone, and the elephant wants to find another elephant, and the horn player wants to find his band, the birdwatcher wants to find a warbler, and the tree doctor wants to find a sick tree, and the deer wants to find some scissors, and the bird wants to find a worm, and the boy wants to find some children to play with him. So they all have a party.

I like this book because the cat is super funny about everything. Each page surprises you because you think you will find something that each person wants but it turns out to be something different. The pictures are really fun and I like to look at them each time and see what all the people want to have and what they find. My favorite picture is where the bird watcher is trying to find a warbler. My mama reads this with funny voices because the whole story is from people talking.
