I’ll Hug You More

This is very sweet book…It has nice drawings of lots of momma animals (like pandas, hippos, rhinos, lizards, racoons, penguins…) hugging their baby and telling them all the many ways mommies can hug their kids: when they wake up, when they read them a book, when they bicycle together, when they swim, when they look at the stars, and when they say goodnight. The surprise is, at the end of the book, another book starts, with the pages upside down. This other book talks about all the ways little puppies can hug their mommies. At breakfast, when they come back from school, when they color together on the floor, when they take a bath and get their jammies on to be ready for bed.

This book made me think of how much l enjoy hugging my mom. If it was up to me, I’d never be away from her, and I would snuggle all day, just like the puppies in the book.
