Froggy Gets a Doggy

Froggy really wanted to get a dog! His mom took him to the animal shelter. When they went to the animal shelter, his mom was not planning on getting a dog. His mom thought dogs were too messy. They looked at bunnies, mice, and a baby alligator! Froggy just wanted to get a dog. When he found the dog that he really liked, he told his mom to look at its eyes. Once she saw the dog, she had to buy it. They took the dog home and Froggy had to put a collar on the dog, then fill the water bowl. When they went out to play, he had to use a leash and a pooper scooper! Froggy tried to teach his dog to do tricks but the dog just ran off and knocked things over. The dog wanted to sleep with Froggy and kept him up all night! Then the dog woke him up early in the morning! I think Froggy got tired of having a dog. I liked reading this book. I am glad I don’t have a dog! I think most kids would like to read this book.
