Always Twins

This is a book about how identical twins find each other alike and different. Whenever someone asks “You two are just alike!” The twins reply, “Yes we are! Just alike!” I like how author/illustrator Teri Weidner made the ducks’ expressions and the colors so realistic. All the pictures in the book are bright, with earthy colors. I like how the illustrator made the main character ducks. The ducks, Olivia and Lily, like to do different things. It makes me feel sad when the ducks are apart. It is cute and nice to see them back together holding hands and hugging. I learned that if you get mad at each other, just talk it out instead of hiding or going away. Anyone can read this book, not just twins. I like how when Olivia and Lily fall into the water illustrator makes the ducks colors fade. I like the title page picture with the beginning of the twin ducks. There are only a few sentences on each page and it is easy to read. I think this book is appropriate for age four and up.
