An Ode to the National Parks: You are Home is about wherever you go, you are home. It tells you about the National Parks that you can visit in the US. You can visit the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Great Smoky Mountains, and volcanoes in Hawaii. This is a very educational book, and I liked learning about some of these places. The last page tells you where some of the National Parks are. There are a lot in California, Utah, and Colorado. I liked the picture of Big Bend, and I would like to see it one day. I also liked the picture of the chipmunk because it is cute. There were a few pictures of the Great Smoky Mountains in the book, I wonder why. The author said he went to the National Parks to draw them. It’s cool that he had to climb a mountain while sketching. The pictures look very real. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn about National Parks and to anyone who likes to visit new places.
