Walking with Dinosaurs: Patchi’s Big Adventure (Walking With Dinosaurs the 3d Movie)

This book is based on the movie, but I haven’t watched it yet. You don’t have to watch the movie to love the book. This book is about Patchi, a baby Pachyrhinosaurus. He was born smaller than the rest of his brothers and sisters and while eating he is taken from his nest by a Troodon. His mom and dad chase after the Troodon and finally he is free but he now has a hole in his ear and he doesn’t know where he is. He looks all over the forest, running into a lot of other dinosaurs, some scary, some little, and some giant, but he doesn’t recognize any of them. Will he ever make it home safely?

This is a picture book for young kids and comes with a poster and 3D glasses. I had trouble making the glasses stay together though. The pictures on every page look like actually pictures taken from the movie. It is very realistic and the story is sad at first, but you feel better for Patchi by the end. I can’t wait to watch this movie now since I liked the book so much!
