Who Wants Broccoli?

Who wants Broccoli? is about a dog at Beezley’s animal shelter. Broccoli wants to be adopted and he always shows off by barking, running really fast in circles and throwing his water bowl in the air. No one wants a dog who is loud and makes messes. Broccoli gets put in the back room where he will stay out of trouble. A boy named Oscar moves in across the road, and he wants a new dog. He comes to the animal shelter, and Mrs. Beezley ask him if he wants a cute kitten, a bunny or a hamster. The boy didn’t want any of those animals. The boy was leaving the shelter but forgot his ball. Broccoli saw the ball and barked until the boy found the ball and found Broccoli. The boy fell in love with Broccoli and adopted him. Someone wants Broccoli after all.

I loved Who wants Broccoli? because it had dogs and other animals in it. I really liked the illustrations, they were colorful and had lots of details. At first, I was sad that Broccoli could not find a family, but then he found his perfect home with Oscar the boy. I think other kids would love this book.
