The zookeeper is looking for penguin and walrus, because he wants them back in the zoo. They followed everyone out when it was raining and the gates were open, so the zookeeper looks for the out of the zoo all over the city. He looks on the bus, in a line to the subway, at the newspaper stand, feeding the pigeons, on the river, in the car, on stage, and at a baseball game. Then, the walrus gets bonked on the head and has to go to the hospital. Then, he falls in love with this other walrus at the hospital!

I like this book because it has such funny pictures, and I like it because it’s really funny and fun to look for the walrus in each picture and the penguin. Like, in one picture, the penguin is driving the car and the walrus is riding inside, and in another one the penguin is wrapped up like a baby on the walrus’ lap! And the zookeeper doesn’t find them. There are fun things in each picture, and the book is very nice, and I give it ten stars!
