Where Is Rusty?
Rusty is a dog, and he doesn’t listen to anyone. He just listens to other people, but the watchdogs are going to lock him up because they think he doesn’t belong to anyone. But, he belongs to his mother, his brother, and his sister. He loses them because he walks away in the store to the place where they are cooking food. Rusty says he will stick with them, but he doesn’t! His mother goes to a different place, and so he is lost. So, then he hides everywhere, but he finally finds his family. That was good! But he isn’t thinking about listening; he is only thinking about the food machine!
This book has fun pictures. You get to look for Rusty, who’s hiding, and try to guess where he is. The best picture has Rusty under a table. All the tables have silly legs, so Rusty’s dog legs look just like the other table legs! That is really funny! I don’t know why Rusty doesn’t listen. But, this book is fun to read and look at, over and over. Other children will like to read it too!
