What’s That Smell?: A Kids’ Guide to Keeping Clean (Start Smart: Health)

This book has a lot of information and taught me some things I didn’t know. Did you know that dust mites eat your dead skin? Or that the thinnest skin on your body is your eyelids? Or that your body’s largest organ is your skin? I think this book will help me to take better care of my body now that I understand how all the different parts get dirty. The thought of bacteria eating my sweat and then leaving an acid behind that makes me stink is GROSS! I definitely won’t mind taking a shower every day now that I know all of that!

I think all the kids my age should read this book. Now that we are getting older, it is about time we start taking care of our bodies. It may gross you out, or make you sick to think about it, but we all need to know how our bodies work and what causes them to stink (and what we can do about it!) I can’t say that I enjoyed this book, but I’m really glad I read it.
