Tru & Nelle: A Christmas Tale

I think that Tru & Nelle: A Christmas Tale was a pretty good book. Truman and Nelle are two best friends who live in Alabama. Tru had to leave Alabama to live with his horrible mother and stepfather in New York City. When he came back to Alabama, he wasn’t the same Tru who everyone knew. He changed. He still chose NYC over Alabama, despite the fact that everyone missed him. He thought that everything would be better if he moved to New York. However, it wasn’t. His mother sent him to a military school, so he decided to escape back to Alabama. An interesting set of events happens once Tru comes back, so read it to find out! Tru & Nelle: A Christmas Tale was a very unique book. It was such an amazing tale, and I like how it wasn’t too generic. The setting in Alabama makes the book different from others, and I really liked it. Everything about the book was beautiful, and I would definitely recommend it to others!
