This book The Wondrous Dinosaurium was one of the best books that I have read this year. A boy named Danny is the main character, and he is looking for a perfect pet. In his town, a new place called The Wondrous Dinosaurium opens up. Danny goes in looking for his perfect pet. He tries out different ones, but each one has issues like being too drooly, flying too fast, or eating too much meat! He finally chooses a tortoise, but when he shows his mom he says it’s not a boring tortoise but a dinosaur. The picture shows it looking like a Jurassic tortoise when it comes out of its shell. It was so cute. The storyline was good because it kept moving and kept my attention. It was interesting to see the different reasons that he didn’t want to keep the other dinosaurs. The dinosaur pictures were awesome and very engaging. I was able to read this book on my own, and that makes me love it even more. I’ve read it twice already. And I loved spending time on each page gazing at the pictures. The dinosaur pictures were drawn to show them all doing different things like sneezing, flying, running, or smashing a bench. That kept the pages interesting. I would recommend this book to both boys and girls, especially those who like dinosaurs. At the end of this book I wanted my very own dinosaur as a pet!
