The Story of Snowflake and Inkdrop

This fun book tells you about Snowflake’s adventure and Inkdrop’s adventure. Inkdrop starts out in an inkwell; Snowflake starts out in a cloud. They are blown out of the inkwell and the cloud. Inkdrop is looking at the artist’s drawings, hoping she will one day get put into one of those drawings. Snowflake hoped that he could land among children playing or on a bridge or somewhere exciting. But after they are blown away, they meet each other and decide that that was the best thing that ever could have happened. This book is like two stories in one. If you start from the side with Inkdrop, it tells the story of how Inkdrop met Snowflake. If you start from the other side, it tells the story of how Snowflake met Inkdrop. Then in the middle, the two stories clash together!

The pictures are very pretty, and every other page there is a black paper or a white paper, and there is a cutout of snowflakes or inkspills, and you can see what is behind the page. This is a beautiful book and a fun story that you will love reading over and over.
