The Lost Castle Treasure
This book is about a boy knight named Kaye, and his two friends, Reggie and Beau. They live in the village of Knox. All of the knights in Knox know a story about a missing treasure in the castle. Kaye and his friends go in search of the treasure. They have to use the treasure to pay another country that owns the village. But, other knights want to get rid of Kaye for good because they think he is not trustworthy, but he proves them wrong. I don’t want to tell you the ending, but it is unexpected and good.
This is a chapter book, but there are some illustrations in it, as well. I liked those illustrations. The book starts out slowly, but it starts to get really exciting in Chapter 4, and it kept my interest. I wanted to see if they got the treasure or not. The story is fun. It also teaches about good friendships. Boys and girls will both like the story, although boys might like it better. It is a young tween book.
