The Legend of Black Bart (Minerva Mint)

Minerva Mint and her two friends, Thomasina and Ravi, heard that there was a pirate that escaped from jail. He got in jail three centuries ago. That’s a long time. Minerva and Thomasina were excited, because they like mysteries to solve. They decide to catch the pirate. They looked for clues, but they couldn’t find any, except for this old, broken down inn that was called The Lone Pirate Inn. But searching for clues made them very hungry. Then a fisherman came by who was very nice. He cooked extra fish and gave them some, but said that this place was no place for children. Then they meet up at midnight but there was this very thick fog so they can’t find there way through so they keep on walking and then the fog clears a little and they notice they are on the edge of a cliff so they don’t move. But Ravi comes up with a plan: he throws some stones and they follow the sounds of the stones and they get to be safe. Will Minerva and her friends ever find the pirate?

I would like to read more books in this series because this book was very interesting. When I was reading the book I was wondering if there was more in the series. I think Minerva Mint and her friends have exciting and scary adventures that are fun to read about.
