The Elsa Beskow Alphabet Book

In this book, each page shows a word with a letter as an initial, in the alphabet order.

Each new word had a picture showing the word. Some were nice to look at, because the pictures were well drawn. Some were interesting, because I have never heard of the words, like Jack Frost, Magpie, or Yule. But for the rest I found this book quite boring, as there was no story to it.
