Owl went to sleep in an attic because he took a wrong turn trying to get home. When he woke up there was no light, but he thought he was in the forest and wondered why the sun didn’t shine. He looked all around and found a mirror that he thought was the sun. The sun didn’t light up so the Owl took the world, which was a globe, to the sun, but the sun didn’t shine. Then he thought maybe the sun doesn’t remember how to light up, so he turned on the light, but when he turned off the light the sun didn’t light up. Finally the sun started to come in the window and it reflected off the mirror and it shone, and so the Owl realized that he was wrong all along.

This book is so nice. The funniest part is where the Owl tells the sun to “Wakey, wakey!” It is nice in other ways too. I like what the pictures are drawn with and I like all the toys and the furniture. It is funny how the Owl is confused and how he tries to wake the sun.
