The Backwards Birthday Party

This was a funny story about a backwards birthday party. At first, it did not make sense because the story was all opposite. After looking at the title again, it started to make sense. I like that the book was also in music form that I could play and sing on the piano. I like that the illustrator was creative with the birthday cake, making the top layer the largest and the middle layer middle-sized, and the bottom layer as the smallest. It was funny that the author made the birthday boy’s guests animals. It was also funny that the donkey actually pulled his tail off and tried to pin it on someone while blind-folded. It was cool that the author made a maze which said “Happy Birthday” backwards. When I saw it in the mirror, I saw it as forward letters. I think all children would like this book because I really like it. Each page has only a couple of sentences so it can be easy to read. Many of the pictures have darker colors but they are happy pictures
