That’s My Hat!
The boy draws a hat, but the wind comes and blows it away. So he draws a taxi to chase it. It blows into the zoo, and a monkey takes it. So then the boy has to chase the monkey all through the city. He goes into the fashion shop, the library, the park, the museum, the bakery, the store, then on the top of the skyscraper! Watch out! Will the boy ever catch that monkey and get his hat back?
This book is so fun because, when you open the pages, it has pop up parts that come out of the page. You have to look behind some of them, and you can find the monkey on each page. In the library, the librarian tells the boy that if he wants to find out about monkeys, he should look behind the M stacks – and if you look there, there is the monkey! You will have a lot of fun looking at these pictures and seeing everywhere the boy has to chase the monkey. But I don’t know why the boy doesn’t just draw another hat!
