Teddy Spaghetti
I haven’t heard of too many people liking to eat spaghetti as much as the main character in Teddy Spaghetti does. A boy named Teddy is starting at a new school and is feeling nervous. He meets some new friends in his class and tells them how he loves to eat spaghetti.
At lunchtime, Teddy opens his lunchbox and finds that his mom has packed him some spaghetti to eat! He is ready to eat when a bully comes over and calls him “Teddy Spaghetti”! Teddy first thinks he should be upset, but then he realizes that the bully didn’t actually say anything bad since he loves spaghetti, and Teddy loves his new name.
I like how this book shows that people can be mean to other people, but if you stay calm, things can usually end up okay. Teddy ended up sharing his spaghetti with all of his friends, and that made me happy to read about. I also like spaghetti, but not as much as Teddy does. I think any kid will like to read this funny story about a boy who loves spaghetti and how he likes to share with anyone.
