Sometimes It’s Storks
This is about a baby boy. This book is scary because this baby has all these adventures, but he is just a baby! He keeps getting lost and found and lost again and passed from one animal to another. He starts out with a stork, but then he goes to a crocodile, a whale, fish, a kangaroo, and lots of other creatures. He goes everywhere around the world, like to the North Pole and then to Australia. Finally a zoo sends him to his parents. The dad is telling the story to the baby. It is so scary! I wouldn’t want that to happen to me! But the pictures are really fun. The animals are cute and not scary, and in each page you can look for the stork that dropped the baby in the first place because he is trying to get the baby back. The words are funny and rhyme, and I am really glad that the baby finally got to his parents! So everyone was happy at the end, even the stork who finally gets to rest on the chimney!
