Soccer Show-Off (Jake Maddox)
This book is awesome. I loved the book. It’s about a girl named Gina. She started at a new school. It’s a middle school. She tried out for soccer. The other girls were nice to her. She made the team. At practice, she did a very good kick. I like how Gina tried her best when the first game started. During the first game they were doing team work. Then Gina started being mean. She was a ball hog. Coach talked to Gina. The second game they really tried hard. But they still had trouble. In the second game, one reason why they had trouble, was because “one person can’t carry the whole team” like Becca said. The end of the book was really exciting. I learned about soccer. This book told about playing nice. I would recommend this book to a soccer kid because the kid will know a lot of things about soccer.
