Rules of the House
Rules of the House is a fun story about a brother and sister and the importance of the rules. It was the sister who gets into trouble because of not following rules and finally the smart brother comes to save her.
Characters in the story look very real like regular brother and sister who live next door. The monsters look like something that you see in your dream (after reading a fairy story). Language was just right and perfect and it kept me very interested till the end. The pictures look very cute and realistic. The picture where Ian was pointing his toothbrush at the monsters it seemed like Harry Potter pointing his wand, very nice one.
This book is suitable for 1st grade to 3rd grade school kids, who can really enjoy monsters and understand the importance of rules. Certainly this book makes a good series like Rules in the Kitchen, Rules in the Library, Rules in the School and ongoing.
Finally following rules is hard but if you do your best you won’t fall into the trap of the trouble. Never break rules and even if you have to, then do it for good reason.
