The children are picking and planting plants to eat. They say, “Plants feed me.” They talk about fruits and vegetables. We eat different parts of the plants. They eat watermelons, cherries, seeds, rice, strawberries, apples, tomatoes. Beans, peas, and carrots. We eat the leaves of lettuce and cabbage and spinach. We eat the fruits of blueberries and watermelons and strawberries. I thought we couldn’t eat the seeds of strawberries because they didn’t have the seeds on the inside, but – they have them on the outside. And we eat the fruit of apples and pumpkins and bell peppers. We eat the seeds of beans and peas, rice and wheat. We eat the stems of asparagus and broccoli, and we eat the stems of onions, and we also eat the roots too. We also eat the roots of carrots and beets. There are lots of delicious plants that I like to eat, but I like to eat meat best.

I don’t like the pictures of the some of the people, but I like the pictures of all the plants and fruits and vegetables. I like to talk about how plants grow and make food for us.
