Not Just a Book

A book is never just a book, and this endearing children’s book explains that a book can be about just about anything–all you have to do is use your imagination.

I almost don’t have enough words to explain how much I loved reading this book. Not only was the story well written with beautiful illustrations, but it opened up my eyes to all the things books are good for–purposes I knew and ones I had never considered before. I would say one of my favorite pages had our main character hiding behind a book at a party, something I find myself doing more often than not. While this is a children’s book, I loved it so much I think it’s a fine addition to anyone’s book collection. As an avid reader, this book illustrated everything I love about books as well as added clever ways to use them for those who may be less inclined to read them sometimes. This is a book I know I’ll keep for decades to come. “Books can make you really clever…and they stay with you forever.”
