Ninja Bunny
There’s no story. I thought there would be a story. There’s a bunny learning to be a ninja by reading a book. (Rule #3 should be: watch where you are going). He steps on a rake, and the handle flings up. I can still see him when he’s trying to hide in a bush. He hooks himself to the tree with his own weapons. (I don’t think he knows how to escape). He looks like he is stuck in the tree when he is supposed to be climbing up it. He is falling, not flying. He changes his mind about the first rule: a ninja must always work alone. A lot of guys attack the bear. His new rule is that a super awesome ninja needs super awesome friends! I think that’s a good rule. I think working with people is good, or he wouldn’t get past the bear. This would be a good library story time book. I like all the pictures – especially when Ninja Bunny looks up at the bear with that broom and that book. How is he going to defeat him with a broom and a book? I read this book really easily by myself. The pictures are funny.
