Ninja Baby
Nina is a ninja. She’s a kid. When she was born, she karate-chopped her doctor, all because of a pat on the bottom. I like her obliterating her applesauce. She hides under water at bathtime. She can hide under a lamp. Then, a Kung Fu Master arrives, aka Baby. She attacks everything in her room, because she’s feeling lonely. No one comes. The Master and the ninja learn from each other. Then, everything is happy. The kids don’t find out that their mom and dad are ninjas.
I liked this book. The drawings are funny. I like the two pages with the slap on the bottom and the karate chop. I found the ninja hiding in the pictures. I can read this book myself, but I don’t think the Kung Fu Master could, because he’s a baby, and there’s the word “obliterated.” This book is good for people who are having babies. The end was not my favorite, because the parents are ninjas too. I’d like it if the kids could beat the parents. I like the Kung Fu Master, aka Baby. I like the power he has over the parents. I wish I had that power.
