I think My Forest is Green is a good book. The pictures are beautiful. Personally, I’m more interested in 20 words on each page, and this book has like five on each page. But the five words on each page are really good, and they have a nice message. There are lots of good opposites and some rhymes that help teach babies their first words. The story is about a little boy who lives in a big city, although a forest is in front of his house. Some people might be lucky enough to live in a really big forest or really close to one, but I think a lot of people find their forest wherever they can and are just happy to be near any sort of nature. The boy in the story likes to do art. Most of his art is about forests and the creatures who live there. He has a good imagination, and I think this book might inspire kids to think about what kind of nature is around them, do art more often, go for nature walks more often, or maybe start doing those things for the first time. This book is good for all ages, especially kids 5 and younger.
