Museum Mystery Squad and the Case of the Curious Coins

This is an exciting and interesting mystery book filled with fun facts and activities. The Mystery Squad kids, Laurie, Nabster, Kennedy, and Colin the hamster, are trying to find out who is stealing from the donation collection. As they explore through a museum they discover danger, treasures, adventure, and coded messages. It makes going to a museum seem like an adventure filled with all kinds of discoveries and a whole lot of fun. The writer keeps the story moving at a fast pace, and the illustrations are very good and some are funny. I especially liked the activity on building a robot. This story is a quick, easy read for younger kids. I think kids in grades one through four and those who have a hard time reading longer books will like this book. I read all the Nate the Great books when I was younger, and I think this series is something like those books. I would absolutely recommend this book for kids, even some who are a little older. This will keep your attention the whole time and make you want to go on another mystery trip with the Mystery Squad.
