Star Wars: Jedi Academy
Young Star Pilot, Roan, was expecting a note accepting him to Pilot Academy where his father, brother had attended. All of his friends were going to Pilot Academy and he had his heart set on going too. But he’s gets a rejection letter instead. Roan is crushed! Instead, he’s invited to attend Jedi Academy. He figures that he’ll have to be a farmer instead of a pilot now, which is NOT cool at all. Unexpectedly, he gets an invitation to attend Jedi Academy. He thinks that Jedi Academy will be just like middle school but he’s wrong. It’s much, much harder! He meets Master Yoda, some light-saber wielding bullies and a few droids. He tries to keep up with his classmates but as hard as he tries, he just can’t do it. As if staring middle school wasn’t hard enough!
This book is written as Roan’s diary. Readers will enjoy all the comics and funny entries scattered all over the book. I thought this was a great book because it has lots of humor and action. It’s one of my favorite books, and I read it over and over.
