Making Scents
“Man’s best friend”–can you guess what it is? Dogs! But they can be man’s best sibling also, apparently. Mickey was found in the woods by a dog breeder. Then he instantly became part of the family; he learned dog instincts from his fellow dog “siblings,” and he developed a strong nose. And then school came and also the school talent show. Mickeys parents were driving along to the school when, WHAM! A car accident happened. Now he has to live as an only child with his uncle and aunt.
Making Scents is a colorful book, full of colorful pictures with the best contrast of colors. It has a drawing style that is similar to the style of really popular by cartoonists right now, which isn’t really a bad thing. I actually think it’s quite nice and charming and is overall a delightful style. I love how the plot seems so absurd but is just crazy enough so it doesn’t seem too fake.
