Louise is really into drawing pictures and doesn’t pay attention to anything other than the subject she is making a drawing of. Her little brother doesn’t say much in the story but in the pictures he seems to look up to Louise and want to be like her. He tries to show her the art he makes, but Louise is to busy with her own. She doesn’t notice when he starts using scissors to make cut-outs from her drawings. When she finally notices she gets mad and upset at her little brother, but then sees that he made something terrific too.

I like this book, Louise Loves Art, because the big sister and little brother are like me and my brother. He tries to do everything like me too, sometimes he bugs me and I sometimes don’t pay enough attention to him, all like in this story. The ending of this book makes me remember that my little brother doesn’t do the things that bug me to be mean and that he loves me.
