Lost Dog: An I Like to Read® Book
There is a dog who wants to go visit his grandmother to give her a birthday present. He gets in his car but doesn’t like all the traffic on the road so he leaves the highway. So then he gets lost. He asks other animals where to go and they point him the way to go, so he keeps going all around the world.
He meets a bear in the mountains, then a bison in the desert, then a jaguar in the jungle, then a walrus, and then some penguins. So he keeps going south. Finally he meets a whale who takes him and his car to his grandmother’s city. Then a policeman helps him find the right street where his grandmother lives.
I like the pictures in this book and I think it’s funny that he has to go all around the world because he’s lost. The dog looks very confused and the other animals are nice to show him the way but it seems like they keep sending him further and further away. But he’s really happy when he gets to his grandmother’s house. He is pretty brave to keep going even when he gets so lost.
