I Love My Amazing Body

Jackie is a girl that loves her body and says it all in rhymes. She is special and unique, and nobody is like her. She loves toes as they help her stand up. She can even draw with them! She loves her feet, which allow her to walk, and her legs, which allow her to run fast or to sit criss-cross applesauce. She even loves her tummy when it growls with hunger. Her back can bend to exercise, and her chest can fill up with air to breathe. Her arms allow her to hug her doggie, or to reach for apples on the tree. Her elbows allow her to use her bow and arrows, and her hands allow her to write, draw, and even handstand. She loves her mouth, which lets her to talk, smile, and sing, and her eyes that her to see everything.

She loves her body as a best friend, and takes it anywhere. And just as she likes herself, she likes us too.

I like this book because the rhymes were funny, and I found the little exercises at the end of each page interesting. I’m still trying to draw with my toes, and to get to target with my bow and arrow toys.
