How to Rid Your Swimming Pool of a Bloodthirsty Mermaid: Slug Pie Story #2

Mick is pet sitting PJ’s sea monkeys and in return, he and Finley can use the pool. He feeds the wrong food and one of the sea monkeys turns into a blood sucking mermaid [also called Merlin]. Merlin eats the other nine sea monkeys and gets so big he has to go into a bigger tank. So Mick, Finley and PJ put him in the pool. He would not stop eating, so they got fifty cans of three types of fish; but he was still hungry. The boys have no clue what happens at midnight when there is a full moon. Figuring out what to do with the blood sucking mermaid is very complicated and suspenseful.

I think this was an excellent book but I didn’t like it as much as book number one. It is one of my favorite series. I like this book because it is very creepy, adventurous, and funny. I like the character of Mick. The front cover creeped me out enough; good thing there were no pictures in the book!
