Harley Quinn goes to Super Hero High, a high school for young super heroes. And Harley is a young super hero. Kind of. Mostly. Sort of. Oh, it’s not that she isn’t good. She has amazing acrobatic skills, carries her weapon everywhere, and has a cool, if slightly kooky, costume. But Harley’s plans for the future don’t involve as much, well, saving the planet as the other young superheroes. She has other things to worry about, like her mega-awesome web show, Harley’s Quintessential, and getting the most viewers in the world! Which is harder than it sounds. So, after a few failed attempts to raise her number of viewers, Harley notices that the Krazy Karnival is coming to town. Broadcasting the Krazy stuff going on at the Karnival would definitely get her more viewers. And it would be super fun. Perfect. Great idea…. If only it turned out that well. Because wherever there are supers, there are villains, and wherever there are supers and villains, there’s action, and wherever there’s action, Harley’s right in the middle of it!

I tore through this book, and enjoyed every minute of it. Harley is funny, touching, energetic, and enthusiastic. I liked that she was a good guy in this book, whereas in other books she’s a villain. The only things you may not like are that since they are super heroes, they do fight bad guys, and also a few mild insults are thrown. But I didn’t mind. Also, it was very cool to learn about different superheroes, especially when they are young and not quite perfect yet. This book is wonderfully written. When I find myself sitting around with nothing to read, sometimes I’ll pick this story up, flip to a random place, and just start reading. It’s that fun.

Read about your favorite superhero/web star/gymnast/class clown in this hilarious, heartwarming book. Will Harley save the day? Maybe. Will she resist the terrible temptation of funnel cakes? Unlikely. And will she actually wear something other than mismatched tights to a dance competition? Probably not. Open this book to find out.
