Fancy Nancy: Candy Bonanza

In Fancy Nancy: Candy Bonanza, Nancy goes trick-or-treating on Halloween with her friend Brie and her sister, JoJo. She is dressed up as the Sugar Plum Fairy from the Nutcracker, and she looks beautiful! Her neighbors give her super-sized cookies, candy bars, candy corn, and lollipops. It is funny how the treats Nancy is given keep disappearing. Where could they be going? Into her tummy, of course!

The houses in Nancy’s neighborhood have such spooky decorations! At one house, there is a tree with bags of jelly beans hanging down from it. That is a great idea!

After a while, all of Nancy’s yummy treats have given her a tummy ache. My tummy would hurt, too, if I ate that much junk food! Nancy has to go home to take a rest instead of trick-or-treating with her friends. How sad! When JoJo comes home and offers Nancy more candy, she says no thank you!

This book comes with 35 creepy Halloween stickers. I love stickers, so it was a great bonus to get with a book I enjoyed reading.
