Dream Flights on Arctic Nights
Dream Flights On Arctic Nights is written by Brooke Hartman and illustrated by Evon Zerbetz. The writing, which is in rhyming poetry, would make it a great soothing bed time book for young children. When reading this book, you sore through the Arctic sky guided by a raven and a snowy owl. You will meet a raft of otters, singing bow-head whales, a arctic fox, and other animals from the Arctic. You will see the Northern Lights and feel the cold Arctic air. Little kids who have this book read to them as a bed time story will have sweet dreams about the Arctic. The illustrations are colorful and show up well against the black pages. The pictures are original with beautiful patterns making up the stars. The illustrations are so pretty that you will want to spend hours exploring the Arctic in its amazing pictures. The illustrations are magical, and the rhyming poems are fun to read. My favorite illustration is one that shows a white ptarmigan, a porcupine, and a pack of wolves. The sky of the Arctic in the illustrations is colorful.
