Creature Keepers and the Hijacked Hydro-Hide

Behind Jordan’s broken-down house is the dangerous Okeeyuckachokee Swamp, where his grandfather was eaten by an alligator. Even though he’s not supposed to, Jordan and his friend Eldon go into the swamp and discover a society which helps hide mythical creatures. They soon discover that the Loch Ness Monster, or Nessie for short, has gone missing. They travel to different places across the world to find Nessie’s kidnapper, and soon discover that a man named Gusto is trying to kidnap creatures to make a zoo of mythical creatures. They figure out that Gusto wants to get Nessie’s awesome scales, which allow her to control the oceans. Will the team of Creature Keepers be able to get Nessie’s scales back and restore balance to the earth?

I thought this book was interestingly mysterious, and you never knew what was going to happen next. This book was pretty funny and had a lot of things called funny names. A lot of the other Creature Keeper kids were pretty silly too. I liked the pictures; they helped me understand what was going on in the story. I’d love to read more of the books in this series!
