Cooking Comically: Recipes So Easy You’ll Actually Make Them
If cooking is not your thing, but, like most of us, you still need to eat, and if, like most of us, you like to eat good food, and if you are no longer able to get your mother to make food for you (as some of us may be), this might be the book for you. In this book you will find stick figures; a healthy dose of humor; pop culture references; and tasty, easy recipes with detailed, color photos. Here are recipes for Two A.M. Chili, Sexy Pancakes, and the MacGuffin Muffin. Sections for Appetizers, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Desserts , and Sides give a variety of recipes for every eating occasion. Full shopping lists, necessary ingredients and step-by-step instructions are presented with an attitude, along with the relative difficulty level (although all are easy enough even for the beginner). The author has no problem throwing some F-bombs around, so beware; he doesn’t take care to not offend. But the hip modern audience targeted will find this to be a helpful, and funny, start to enjoying cooking, as well as eating, tasty, easy-to-prepare food.
